There are some Janpanese materials and terms we would like to explain. Ganpi is a unique Japanese art paper material. It is made of precious natural fibres which are gathered from eight year old trees found in the higher altitude of mountains, and is very tough and has a beautiful luster.
This term is used in some quality names and means that this is the multi-coloured version of the yarn. This
term, as used in some quality names, for example in "Ganpi Mensilk",
is the
Japanese word for cotton. |
